Richard Smith

On Feb. 9th 2008 Coolwater Patrons were treated to a stunning concert by Richard Smith. The buzz I had heard from other guitarists as well as the official promo material was accurate. Smith not only did not disappoint, but he exceeded expectations. The man can flat out play. He played standards, but his own ingenious arrangements. He played originals that blew my sox off. It was a welcome evening in the midst of what had been a dreary winter. Thank you Richard...hope to see you you...and Julie...somewhere down the road!
