Todd Hallawell and Robin Kessinger

November 17th 2007 marked the return of Todd Hallawell and Robin Kessinger…both National Champions, both brilliant, both welcome here any time.

My first experience with Todd and Robin was a surprise…I knew they were good, they had to be to have accomplished what they have as individual musicians. I figured the two together must be something pretty special.

I had NO IDEA just how incredible these two are. This time around, I knew what to expect, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. They were charming, and every note shone with a crystalline purity that can only be heard to be believed. Todd’s voice was in good form as well and Robin joined in a bit bashfully which was charming all on it’s own.

These two master musicians are in the process of recording a CD together, and I can’t wait for the result. It will be perfection on plastic, I guarantee it!
